WESTMOOR CITY: The Westmoor Home Care Alliance, a fictional trade group used here for illustration, today announced a free compliance help line for its member agencies.
Starting next month, members can call a licensed compliance adviser on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to ask questions about licensing, waiver billing and labor rules. Calls are confidential and are not shared with state regulators.
"Small agencies told us they don't call the state because they are afraid of drawing attention," said Dana Pruitt, the alliance's director. "This gives them a safe place to ask first."
How it works
- Members book a 20-minute call through the alliance website.
- Advisers answer general questions and point owners to the right rule or form.
- The service does not replace legal advice for disputes or investigations.
About the alliance
The Westmoor Home Care Alliance represents 140 fictional non-medical home care agencies across the state. It runs training, advocacy and a yearly owners' conference.
