NORTHSIDE: Northside Home Care, a fictional agency used here for illustration, today announced the opening of its second office, in the town of Elm Park.

The new office will serve Elm Park, Cedar Falls and Brookline, where Northside has kept a waiting list for more than a year. It will start with 40 caregivers and a care coordinator, and plans to double its staff by next summer.

"Families in those towns were waiting weeks for a start date. That's too long when someone is coming home from the hospital," said founder Michael Chen.

About the expansion

  • The Elm Park office opens on the first Monday of next month.
  • Northside is hiring caregivers and a scheduler for the new location.
  • Current clients will see no change to their care team.

About Northside Home Care
