SPRINGFIELD: CareRoster, a fictional home care software company used here for illustration, today launched a family portal that lets clients and their relatives see upcoming visits, caregiver names and visit notes.

Agencies choose which details families can see. Notes marked private stay inside the agency.

"Families call the office to ask who is coming tomorrow. Now they can check for themselves," said Lena Park, CareRoster's head of product.

Key features

  • Upcoming visit schedule with caregiver names and photos.
  • Visit notes shared after each shift, if the agency allows it.
  • Secure messaging with the care coordinator.

Availability

The family portal is available today to all CareRoster customers at no added cost. Agencies switch it on per client.

About CareRoster

CareRoster makes scheduling, billing and caregiver apps for non-medical home care agencies. It serves about 900 fictional agencies.
