[Sample] 4 ideas from agencies that families keep recommending

We asked three fictional agencies with long waiting lists what they do differently.

Some agencies rarely advertise because families keep recommending them to friends. We asked three of them, all fictional, what habits make the difference.

  1. Introduce the caregiver before the first visit. A short video call or a photo and a paragraph about the caregiver calms nervous families.
  2. Call after the first week. A coordinator calls the family to ask what is working and what is not.
  3. Keep the same caregiver whenever possible. One agency tracks how many different caregivers each client sees in a month and works to keep that number low.
  4. Send a short monthly note. Two or three sentences on how things are going, sent to the family member who arranged care.

The common thread

None of these cost much. All of them make families feel someone is paying attention.

Start with the first-week call. It is the easiest habit to build and the one families mention most.
